ice skating.

i went ice skating on good friday.

gosh.... there's so MUCH to say..... i loved it!

firstly, i went skating with my (8 year old) cousin (kinda sad....) and my brother. my brother didnt skate in first place.... he puked in the car.... and we definitely dont want him to puke in the rink now... do we?

anyways, to start off my first skate in ages fine and dandy.... this pro person crashed into my boot, thus knocking me over and i landed on my wrist.

i heard it crunch.

OW.

now this explains why szemin was carrying my instrument for me @ the dunman high exchange.

anyways, the rest of the skate was quite fun.... im really sad the rink @ Kallang is closed... i like it better than Fuji Ice World Jurong....

SO CROWDED...

i didnt dare to go speeding round the ice rink....

--> NOT BECAUSE OF THE PRO PEOPLE ZOOMING ROUND (of course it would be really nice if they werent there)

but i was terrified of the ANNOYING little BRATS with the training bars...

not that they are annoying because of the bar.... it's because they act like they own the place and they crash into YOU. arrh

as you can guess, i was crashed into by one of these.... these.... kidss. yohh

anyways, ARGH syf is SOON.

and i am totally crushed to hear that acp is on the 22nd... not the 15th! so now i cant miss acp and ...... i'll be happy happy in VCH while every two-elevener SLAVES away in aesthetics!
*muahaha*

band camp and other stuff

oh yeah, for a band camp post, this comes CHAO late.

oh well... but straight after band camp, i packed and the next morning i set off for johor bahru! (:

sadly (really?), i missed the yuhua exchange... i was quite happy i didn't need to go, but at the same time i was like , "ahh... i'm missing out!"

Oh boy, was I missing out.

Sherry was telling me about all the hilarity during the exchange. WWAHH..

Anyways, band camp was F U N!

i think it was really great for bonding! i realised my (basses) directs (and sec 3) are really nice. not that i've never realised that before.... i just realised that they are much less intimidating + friendly + generally very very nice.

oh yeah, and band camp made me realise that Batch 05 directs are very nice too! they are now less scary and seem more human ^^.

bonding with my batch was good too... we went through the night together.... (after all those stories.... AHH!)

yeah... Night #2:

i was lying in the middle of sherry & guoling. sherry on my right and gl on the left. so in the middle of GL and Chloe's convo, Sherry and I picked up the word 'horny'.

"What's horny?"
"Don't want to sayy..."

So this kept on, so Sherry and I woke up half the batch to find out the meaning of "Horny"..

By the way, did i mention that GL rolls over people in her sleep?

Now i am mentioning that.

The next morning, GuoLing asked me, "Did you feel something on top of you last night?"

I was like, "what?!"

I thought that perhaps she had felt something so i said, "Casper ahh?"

(Casper was our little joke.... Guoling was sleeping on the outskirts of the batch, so i joked that she should hug the person on her left. GL turned and saw no one and at this, she gave a little shriek and rolled over to me)

So Anyways, she was, "No.... because I woke up last night to find myself on top of you!"

Ohh i see.

Exchange (kinda late!!)

so well we had syf footdrill filming today...

i am so happy that basses don't have to carry their instru! goodness... i'll probably jalan 2 bars and promptly collapse (along with my tuba)

oh yeh... we had the exchange on saturday.... well, i suppose our band didnt do that badly.... the other bands there were RI, ACSI, Anglican High and Hai Xing (or something like that)

so the exchange was @ Anglican High and their campus is quite... old... but it's cute lahh...

i felt sorry for ASCI cos they totally messed up their Singapore Rhapsody ending... plus their conductor wasnt even with them (do they even have one??)

hmm.... oh yeahh,.... and during the break, RG band was walking to the canteen when i heard this faint buzzing in my ear.

The buzz persisted.

Then, I realised that buzz was someone saying 'Rose! Rose! Rose!'

Then it hit me.

(my middle name is Rose, in case you didnt know)

anyways, i whipped around.. only to find jasmine chua going 'Rose!Rose!' Then she turned to WanXian and said something like "See I told you no one ever calls her Rose" or something like that...


well...ok...

true, no one really calls me Rose...
