thanks all you people. i am really touched for your prayers and support, esp church friends. yepp he's much better. he's conscious now and out of ICU. but still in high dependence ward.

winter sonata

my mum doesnt really watch tv alot...the only shows she bothers to follow are crime/law enforcement serials/shows (CSI, NYPD Blue, Crime Night, Interpol Investigates, Cold Case, The Practice, etc) and Korean dramas.

but mummy's taste is selective.. even the Korean dramas she only watches a few... her favourites are Winter Sonata and Summer Scent. and her ABSOLUTE ABSOLUTE favourite is Winter Sonata.. and my mummy loves it so much she pondered for 2 days and eventually bought it the whole stack of episodes. 20. not that bad la... not THAT long.

so we (mum and i) spent the weekend watching! and OMG it's SO SO TOUCHING! so SAD! ANSGSTY! so romantic! i love that guy's character! plus he is shuai... not like that evil weevil guy who just wont die. awww.

and we were watching late into the night and crying and crying. and all my dad did was to shake his head.

ahahah.

the great bandroom cleanup

it was spring cleaning on tuesday!
so we reorganised the section cupboard! yayy! still got the famous amos cookies in there... and origami.

ok then euphos basses sec2s were assigned to clean the OMG! fan OMG! room! like, HELP! fan room! it's covered in dust! the dust in there is like, what. knee deep? it's floating ALL OVER. i could feel it in my hair, my clothing... everywhere! plus divya swept up a dead frog. AIIIEEEE! and there's like, no point in cleaning the place at all.
1. no one EVER goes up there. plus now theres no flag and baton so the batons are going to be cobwebbed too.
2. it's SO hot and humid in there it will get just as gross up there in like, 2 seconds after we clean up.

so what we did was drag all the paraphernalia out to let them BREATHE. open the back door to let the room BREATHE. yupp. there is like...museum relics up there too. so we attempted to sweep the floor and i proudly left two thirsty hippos up there!

and then, the thing was that we were instructed to remove all the carpet squares from the band room (o.O) and we couldnt put them back! it's like this overly difficult and HUGE jigsaw puzzle! ARGH. eew eww EW.

so now at least the carpet squares have been somewhat put back but there are alot of... misfits.

but the band room now seems so... CLEAR! CLEAN!

i am royally screwed. urhh. i NEVER say screwed so really i am desperate.

now rs project is in a MESS i am lost and i dont know what to do. ahh.

urh. was sick the whole holiday week... but ice skating was fun fun fun (:

now i have decided to start knitting. and ARH! cant! stop! eeeheheehe. so fun. but it's like, botched. it's a holey scarf now.

REACT

was on monday. pretty pretty fun. actually very very very fun! except for the fact i was sick ... and when i returned home i got sickerer. not that there's such a word BUT it's to illustrate my point more effectively.

REACT! at RJC. i LOVE RJC! it's so.... clean. and nice. and HUGE. wow. i'll probably need a map to get around for the first 6 months when i enter. -.-"

anyways, my group.

ok whatever.

but my group was really pro-active! yeah! i HATE being in dormant groups... you know those kind where you just trudge around and attempt to cheer. ahahhah.

games! so so so fun! >squeals< ahahah. captains ball was the BEST!

it was a blue canvas full of soapy water.. and a water-bomb as the ball. wow, how catastrophic.

so so fun! except at the end of the game, i was covered from TOP TO TOE, INSIDE OUT with foamy shokubutsu water.
rule: defending is chao fun. BUT there is this price that you have to pay... you get endlessly tackled. gosh (:

but some other games are like, GROSS. like the toothpaste one! yuch. passing toothpaste from face to face.
gosh i SWEAR my cheeks are never the same again.

and i was just telling PeiQi (sec 1), who was in my group:
"thank goodness they are not pouring flour and water all over us"

and right after captains ball, when we all are happily drenched ALL over. the next game (speak of the devill) involved ROLLING IN FLOUR.

like, woah. i'm like, psychic.

gahh.

oh well but the food was pretty ok. looking forward to REACT next year!


oh yeah. thank goodness my flu has laid off... ICE SKATING! SATURDAY!

well then, good readers, let me tell you a story.

one fine night, my family went to Tanglin Mall and then we went to the supermarket.

shopping with me at night in a supermarket is NOT GOOD. this is because i get high and start giggling like a two-year drunkard. well, that is like a two year old, as well as a drunkard. yep.

so anyways, on the spur of a childish whim, i proposed a most brilliant idea to my brother. we decided to play SPY! YAYY!

wow! what! is! SPY!???

errr it is embarrassingly kiddy for my age... even for my brother.
but HECKKARE. so what this game involves is that we (bro+i) sneak around the supermarket watching my mother and maing sure she doent spot us. this often results in wild giggles and weird stares from the members of the public.

how funnn. ><

so anyways in the course of our most engaging game, we found a certain someone sitting among the beer cans.
